Join us for a powerful, all-day gathering designed to prepare our communities to stop authoritarianism through strategic non-cooperation and collective action. Participants will get grounded in the non-cooperation framework, connect with others in Oakland (East Oakland), and identify the concrete roles they can play—whether organizing, workplace outreach, neighborhood patrols, direct action, or corporate campaign work.
This convening will bring together community members from East Oakland and the Oakland Flatlands to foster a shared understanding, strengthen relationships, and develop community-based action plans. By the end of the day, participants will feel connected, informed, and ready to take action.
Oakland Organizations participating and co-hosting a workshop at this Mass training are:
- Oakland Rising and Bay Resistance
- Anti Police Terror Project
- Black Organizing Project
- ACCE
- Faith In Action
