Volunteer with Oakland Rising!

Election season is in full swing, and Oakland Rising needs your help!

We’ve been invited to several community events across Oakland to share important information about where to vote, how to vote, and Oaklanders’ voting rights. We have many opportunities to connect with our community, but we need more volunteers to help us show up!

We’re looking for volunteers to table at community events on behalf of Oakland Rising. No prior experience is necessary, we’ll make sure you feel prepared and supported! You will NOT be alone at any volunteer activation; there will always be at least two other volunteers. If you have a buddy, invite them to register and volunteer together!

What to expect when you volunteer

When you sign up, we’ll provide you with:

• A quick orientation at the Oakland Rising office

• An Oakland Rising staff member or fellow volunteers to table with you

• A super cute Oakland Rising T-shirt to wear while volunteering

• A brief orientation on the information and materials you’ll be sharing

• Everything you need to feel confident connecting with community members

How this sign-up works

This sign-up sheet is dynamic, which means we’ll keep adding new tabling opportunities as they become available.

Sign up for the events you can attend! If you only see one event listed, that simply means it’s the only opportunity available at the moment. Check back later for additional dates and events.

Thank you for showing up for Oakland!

Your time, energy, and presence make it possible for Oakland Rising to reach more people in person and bring important voting information directly into our communities.

We’re truly grateful for your support and excited to have you on the team!
