Join Oakland Rising for an online conversation with Mayor Lee to break down the measure, hear what it could mean for our city, and get answers to your questions. You’ll have a chance to hear directly from local leaders, get informed, and learn how you can help make sure your neighbors and community have the information they need. Join us for an evening of conversation with our community partners Black Organizing Project, Ella Baker Center & ACCE. Learn about local measures, State propositions and Know Your Voting Rights information. Volunteer with Oakland Rising! Election season is in full swing, and Oakland Rising needs your help! We’ve been invited to several community events across Oakland to share important information about where to vote, how to vote, and Oaklanders’ voting rights. We have many opportunities to connect with our community, but we need more volunteers to help us show up! We’re looking for volunteers to table at community events on behalf of Oakland Rising. No prior experience is necessary, we’ll make sure you feel prepared and supported! You will NOT be alone at any volunteer activation; there will always be at least two other volunteers. If you have a buddy, invite them to register and volunteer together!  What to expect when you volunteer When you sign up, we’ll provide you with: A quick orientation at the Oakland Rising office An Oakland Rising staff member or fellow volunteers to table with you A super cute Oakland Rising T-shirt to wear while volunteering A brief orientation on the information and materials you’ll be sharing Everything you need to feel confident connecting with community members How this sign-up works This sign-up sheet is dynamic, which means we’ll keep adding new tabling opportunities as they become available.
